pequeno almoço excelente e localização otima

Gostei imenso da privacidade e da tranquilidade que este local proporciona. Gostei da decoração tradicional da casa alentejana e do Monte em si. Adorei o pequeno almoço que tinha variedade e era delicioso. A piscina e o espaço envolvente estavam muito bem cuidados.

Gostei muito do espaço e da experiência, porém há alguns pontos a melhorar. A casa tinha uma pequena cozinha que poderia conter utensílios básicos como, uma faca de corte, uma tábua ou uma esponja de lavar a loiça. Além disso, deparei-me com um aviso na casa de banho que dizia para não deitar o lixo na sanita, o que era estranho, visto que, não existia caixote do lixo na mesma.

Adorámos o espaço natural envolvente e o ambiente familiar. A Casa Sines, onde ficámos, tem tudo o que é necessário para passar alguns dias de puro lazer, incluindo um quintal que permite fazer refeições ou simplesmente relaxar ao ar livre. O pequeno-amoço é muito bom, com destaque para os ovos mexidos, cozinhados na perfeição.

Não desgostámos de nada, mas a cozinha poderia estar um pouco mais bem equipada. A casa convida a cozinhar, para aproveitar ao máximo a estadia, pelo que quanto maior for a variedade de utensílios, mais satisfatória será a experiência.

The location was fine approx. 5kms outside of Vila Nova de Milfontes, The property we stayed in Casa Covo was attractive from the outside, but we felt let down by the internals. The staff (Elsa) was very pleasant, spoke very good English and the breakfast to order was also very nice. The location is very, very quiet so if you like a bit of nightlife within walking distance, this is not the place for you.

There were several things which detracted from the initial external impression on arrival. Whilst A/C may be considered a luxury, at least an oscillating fan should be in the property to aid sleeping at night when daytime temperatures were in the mid 30's. The kitchen area was not as clean as it could have been and clearly the previous occupants had been cooking fish. By far the two biggest criticisms were though firstly, the bedspread upstairs must not have been cleaned for quite some time and as a result, the bed linen also had a musty smell to it. Secondly, because of the way the property was built the bathroom and presumably the 3rd sleeping area adjacent suffered very much from dampness coming up in the walls leaving an unpleasant damp musty feeling/aroma. The only ventilation would be the window which you could not really leave open because it is at ground level (literally) as the bathroom is below ground. The grouting in the bathroom was badly stained with black mould which is unacceptable, there was no shower gel or liquid soap provided in the bathroom either. There was a BBQ of sorts outside, but this too had not been cleaned in quite some time and if we had wanted to use it, we would have had to buy new grills to use it. Finally, the satnav coordinates given and even the ones I got from Google Maps do not take you to the property. A simple written description by the owner would be better than satnav coordinates.
