Receptionist was awesome. Very helpful polite and very accommodating and knowledgeable
Toilet seat was very loose. AC when used was very noisey. Same time need fan replacement.

The sea view from the balcony and the bathroom window is sensational. The size of the room we stayed in was described as small and it is but the view and the balcony makes up for it. The staff are very attentive and I would suggest booking a porter through them to meet you at the top/bottom of the hill as it is pretty hard when you get there to get your luggage up/down the hill. (ferry arrival up the hill, vehicle transfer down the hill). Breakfast is included and the photos show that it is a buffet. It is not anymore. The breakfast is continental and you have to pay extra for fried eggs omelette etc. Very basic but you can order what you want. I counted 180 steps back up to the Main Street so be prepared for a climb. More stairs going down to the beach but spend at least 1 day at the beach club of your choice as it is totally worth it. If you can, bring beach/pebble shoes as otherwise it is like walking on hot coals as you get in and out with the sharp pebbles.
Our room had 2 tiny glasses and 4 paper cups for drinking water/wine/beer etc. Absolutely nothing else. No plates, cutlery, cups anything. Nothing to make a hot drink in the morning. Bed linen very tired and thin, pillows totally shot and needed refreshing. It states bath products are provided but all there is 2 bottles of body wash provided in the shower and basin and shower bottle was broken. Room was serviced every day but I noticed floors were not cleaned and our 2 tiny glasses were not even washed. We paid $600 AUD a night and some would say that is crazy but it is Positano and some people pay $2,000 a night at least so the decision is yours.

I think this is the most enjoyable hotel experience I have ever had in my life. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. Waking up each morning and having breakfast in the little garden overlooking the ocean was so incredible. Rooms were spacious. AC was incredible. Short walk to Fornillo beach which is where we spent our time. I wish I could live here. What a dream :)
Stairs. Get ready for that walk! I am young and fit, and still failed to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs and ended up needing to get a worker from the hotel to help (they were so helpful!). I recommend just getting the porter from the beginning even if you think you can handle it. The only reason we did not is because there was a storm when our ferry came in so the porters were nowhere to be seen haha!

Reaching Dimora is a bit of challenge when you first reach Positano I must say, but the location was perfect for us. We traveled as a family. It was very quiet with awesome views of the town and sea and the mountains behind. One can relax in their own balcony watching the change of colour of the sea and the reflected light from sunrise to sunset or come and sit in the garden with unrestricted views. The dining room is always open with access to tea, coffee, etc. A short climb of stairs up takes one to many restaurants on the main road. The port and main town is 10-15 minutes walk away. Staff is very helpful and courteous. They always had a smile on their face. If we come back to Positano, we will stay here AGAIN!!
Too many stairs to reach the hotel when one is coming up from the port.
