Nice and well maintained camping, terraced and with lots of shade. The "ground-floor units with private entrances and tiled floors" serve as pre-set tents (or little houses) - very convenient solution for people flying in to the island with no camping equipment. They have very comfortable beds (if you prefer harder mattress) and are mostly set up in quiet corners of the campsite. The design could be a bit better (there is almost no ventilation if you close the doors), but in general they serve their purpose well. The attitude of the ladies in the reception make this camping really great - they care about everything, keeping the place safe and very hospitable! The camping kitchen area is just spacious room with a table, sinks for washing dishes, and electric outlets. Unlike in some other camping sites in Greek islands there is no general access gas stove - you need to bring your own equipment, or buy it in the supermarket just opposite the campsite entrance (which is surprisingly well stocked for self-catering tourists!). People leaving the camping tend to leave unused gas containers and food in special sharing area (which is another great idea of the camping management)!
The information about "Beachfront Location" is misleading - there is no "private beach", the nearest public beach is approximately 800 m down the (asphalt and busy) road and it is a tiny one. Paleokastritsa is built on cliffs and slopes and it is a very busy resort with lots of hotels - beach space is hard to get there. The Liapades Beach mentioned in the description can be reached through a marked walking trail that starts near the supermarket opposite the camping - it is a nice but demanding trail - not suitable for flip-flops and beach wear. Just an observation to finish with: as I noticed, new advances in camping technology include private air conditioning in caravans, mobile homes, and tents (!). Portable air conditioners are now put inside, connected to electricity, switched on ... and left like this for the whole evenings, nights, and mornings. The effect is a continuos hum (noise) all around the site, which sometimes make it hard to sleep in the open air (or in a old-fashion hot-climate tent with thin, web-like transparent walls). Sometimes, the exhaust pipe from the air-conditioner is mounted in such a manner, that the hot air blows directly in the direction of other campers, making the night even hotter for them. To address the problem, perhaps there should be a special zone for all air-conditioned campers? Please - do not blame the camping staff for that - they really care for the place and keep it in top shape.

Staff is very kind and helpful , everything easy access
You can walk to the beach but may need a car to reach nearby areas. Unrelated to the camping site, but worth considering if you're in foot. Everyone walks along the street with no sidewalks though. A bit dangerous but doable. Buses run irregularly and taxis are on call. O

It’s run by Family and they have created a Village like community that people return every year.
