The location was conveniently situated on the road to Freycinet National Park and Wine glass Bay. The property was very quiet at night.

We arrived in torrential rain and the temperature was only 8C degrees. The heating had not been turned on and it was quite cold inside the apartment. We tried to turn on the reverse cycle heating/aircon, but without success. Our neighbours also tried with their remote, but they too were unable to turn on the heating. However, we did find two electric heaters in the bedroom cupboards and were able to heat the lounge/kitchen area with these heaters. That was the only negative aspect of our stay.

Handy location to explore Coles Bay. Modernized cottage with adjoining apartment. Well set up with bbq and cooking facilities, salt and pepper, coffee and tea.

Would have been a bonus to have had some cooking oil provided as this is difficult to travel with. This is the only place in Tasmania we have stayed at where it's not provided

It is overall a very nice place with all the facilities. Quiet, private and comfortable.

I needed their assistance with something after I had checked out so I messaged them as well as called them, but no one got back to me which I thought was strange after they sent me a few duplicate messages regarding checking in prior to my stay.

On arrival we noted there were wet carpets across the driveway which we assume are there because of a drainage problem but the appearance and smell of the wet carpets is not a good first impression for the entrance to a holiday rental. The kitchen was not clean on arrival with marked and sticky work surfaces. We Dettol wiped all surfaces before using the kitchen. The crockery was wet in the drawers and required being rewashed and dried before use. The oven baking tray had food traces and the dish sponge under the sink was not hygienic or usable. The lounge and main bedroom walls are streaked with mosquito blood. The main bedroom carpet was grimy and appeared to require vacuuming. There were cobwebs in the lounge near the ceilings requiring high dusting to remove. In the toilet we noted thick dust on the pipe work under the sink and in the utility room what appears to be a large area of fluff stuck to the ceiling above the tumble dryer. For the rental tariff we expected this property to be immaculately clean but are disappointed highlighting these observations although feel it is important you are aware of the condition of this property upon our arrival.
