Great location just beside both bus and train stations, clean & comfortable rooms, great night's sleep.

The beds were comfortable, it was really nice to have a bathroom in our room, and it was quiet.
The fan in the bathroom was struggling and made a lot of noise

Location is superb for the train to Edinburgh- just creep the road and you're there.
Staff were really helpful, and allowed me to check in early so that I could spend the day in Edinburgh.
Room was clean, bed was comfy, what more could the Monorene.heart of man desire?
If you're after a Mercure, you'll be disappointed, but if you want somewhere clean and comfy to sleep in, with excellent access to Edinburgh, you can't go wrong with the
... Breakfast! 🤣😂🤣 They don't do breakfast! I'm sure you could pick one up somewhere in Galashiels, but once I'm moving, I tend not to.

Great location
The place needs maintenance, The beds are really uncomfortable. And the carpet on the hallway smells bad.
