Långholmen Hotell

Interesting hotel with real character. The hotel was clean. It retains the feel of a prison with heavy doors and bars on the windows. Location is good being outside the centre of Stockholm but with access to the metro and many good restaurants.

The room size is small with limited storage of cases or larger bags.

The Hotel was amazing, so much better than I thought. The check in staff were super friendly and efficient, a credit to the place and it was pretty much like this throughout. Price was very reasonable, rooms were very comfortable and cozy with of course the novelty of being a prison cell previously. Showers worked well, room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was included in our package and was just absolutely first class. Everything fresh and so many options it would be impossible not to find something to enjoy, breakfast staff were amazingly friendly, attentive and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough based on my experience during this stay and will definitely return some day.

The only things I can possibly think to put here are very minor. A wider selection of coffee at breakfast, there is only one option from the machine and itbis a shame that the bar was closed on Sundays but this may be a law, I am unsure but we were unable to have a final drink together in the hitek bar on Sunday which was not in any way a negative

Old prison turned into hotel with humor. Great breakfast. Spot of nature in the middle of Stockholm.

Rooms were small (actual cells of course).
