Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Relais & Châteaux

The staff were excellent throughout, from helpful reception desk staff, through restaurants (including lovely breakfast staff, especially the lady with glasses, who always knew what was needed before you asked for it). Room staff were super nice, looking after our room and asking us if we needed items. Room was super and well-designed. Much helped by two column fans brought in to make sleeping easier in those hot climes. The swimming pool was a thing of remarkable beauty and spaciousness. I think it is the best indoor hotel pool I have ever experienced. Beautifully designed. An utter pleasure to use, and we were lucky to be there is slightly off-season, so I often had the pool to myself.

Just one thing to point out, the lift had a habit of closing rather quickly and aggressively (we were in part 3 of the property, across the road from reception). The doors need adjusting to stop them closely on people just as they are entering the lift after the first peson has got in.

We absolutely love this hotel! The place itself is worth recommending, as Saas Fee is truly magical! The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast has plenty of choice and all the staff were extremally polite and kind. By planning our trip, the only plan was to relax and just to have time for us, no rush, walk around and enjoy the place as it was our 10 wedding anniversary. The hotel surprised us by offering us an upgraded room. Yes, we will be returning and hopefully having more beautiful anniversaries there! Thank you so much!

Lovely breakfast and bar area with brilliant staff. The pool very nice too.

The gym and surrounding area smelt of sewage. Really horrible. I was desperate to use the gym (because the slopes were shut due to avalanche risks) but I found the smell of sewage too much! Our family suite was small and the shower way too small which also leaked. The bath jacuzzi didn’t work.
