Apartamentos Honório - Vilamoura

There were some really nice aspects to our stay. The grounds are lovely, and the pool, bar and restaurant area has clearly had a lot of effort put into it. You can see the style they're going for. It was nice and quiet too. The waiting staff were very friendly, and so was the chap on reception. The BBQ area is nice to have, and the WiFi was pretty quick and good indoors. The kitchen had all of the basics.

Overall Not good value at the price we paid. The grounds and the rooms feel like two different places. There were a few outside parties while we were there which was great - it added to the vibe of the place, and it feels like the investment has gone into the grounds for those events rather than into the rooms for the people staying. That's great for the events, but the rooms lag well behind. They're tired, with chunks out of the walls, shabby decoration, a shower that needs upgrading and well-used beds and pillows. The air con worked well, but it sounded like a tank in the apartment every time we used it. Our room wasn't regularly restocked with toilet paper and bin bags. The pool attendant was rude and wouldn't let us use our room towels at the pool. No pool towels were offered, free or to rent, and he sat on his own sunbed with his own towel while we went without. The pool wristbands aren't adjustable, so you either wear them all stay or rip them off. Reception was often shut. The food was a bit expensive for the quality. Only a low wall separates the terraces, so there's little privacy. The WiFi doesn't reach the terrace. The BBQ has the coals sitting straight on the brick with no airflow, so it's very hard to light.

Very comfortable and was perfect for my time while in Portugal. Exceeded my expectations!! The room was quiet, very clean and spacious. Lovely large pool and nice restaurant with evening events through the week. Its very close to a big supermarket for self catering and a good car park. Nice friendly staff. It was ideal for my time there!

Could do with some other kitchen tools like scissors and some bigger bowls.

Very clean, big pool, staff is excellent very friendly and nice, apartment it self lovely and big, breakfast nice, cocktails are amazing , places by the pool not over crowded location is good you in quite area but 15min walk and you can enjoy beach or local streets or if you want samethink more fancy villamoura marina just 5min away woth uber!

Beds are very uncomfortable, they have few entertainments in the evening very loud so if you want wat quiet evening forget about it for same people suits it but if you been out all day and want to go to bed early won’t work ( not every night ) one evening there was same b-day party so it was very craudet and loud. One evening we went for dinner, order burger was not cooked we never said anything we just left there and never return for dinner anymore.

No oven in the kitchen ,and the pool close to early and the edges not clean , they don’t scrub the white plastic edges in the pool ,they very dirty and not safe
