The Fort York

Lovely location. Great apartment (ours was number 2 so need to be ok with stairs). Good comms from the company about self-check-in. Part of building with Kennedys' Bar and Restaurant and Sotano Tapas - both well worth eating at! Company up front about location and possible 'street noise' and even provided ear plugs (not used). Scrabble and games compendium there for lazy evenings. Galley kitchen well fitted out but no reason for anyone to cook in. (If so then microwave could be helpful rather than hob/oven?) Always nice touch to find 'basics' - tea, coffee, sugar, hand wash, shower gel etc and especially milk.

Very very very minor and not a 'dislike' but info for other visitors - Hadn't realised that shower room light/fan was on a PIR so kept opening the door to see if the fan had stopped which wasn't the cleverest thing to do! Called the contact number and had a visit in a couple of minutes who put us right. Plus - as with many others we probably 'play' with the TV. Couldn't get the one in the lounge to set to 'ordinary' channels but one in bedroom ok.

Had spacious apartment on top floor.

Central location. Lovely and clean everywhere. Nice large towels and they were changed everyday. Decor was modern and well maintained. Our room had a view of the minster tower and bells on Sunday was lovely to hear.

Nightclub was a bit noisy but earplugs were provided and description did warn you of that, so not complaining.

Very central, good location.

Basic facilities, kettles and cups in rooms would be a good idea.
