Tenterfield Motor Inn

Location was good

$40 for 2 serves of plain eggs on toast was a bit rich and extortionate. I was also annoyed about the fact that we were grouped with another family right next to us when the rest of the motel was completely empty. The room was a little poorly prepared in that the fridge had been defrosted and all the water was still inside the fridge. I had to call someone to fix it and mop it up.. also the toaster cupboard was full of breadcrumbs so a lack of proper cleaning. The managers whilst courteous and friendly we’re not welcoming and not giving any directions or suggestions about meals or where we could go to find other meals if we wanted.. I think you need to be an ambassador. If you’re at own a motel or run a motel you just can’t give someone some keys have them sign some documentation and not provide a little bit of courtesy and friendly service.

It was very clean

No bathroom counter. No where to put shampoo or toiletries in bathroom or shower.
