The Laurels B&B

The way the place was set up was exceptional, with antique furniture and decor throughout, done in excellent taste. The gardens outside also were wonderfully maintained. David and Lindy were amazing hosts better than I have experienced ever, and this was noticeable right from the first email correspondence and phone calls, to when we were actually met them personally. Breakfast was served in an elegant dining room with beautiful cutlery and crockery, and the breakfast was home cooked to an excellent standard. Totally loved the Eggs Royale! Lindy and David were also very informative about the area and made wonderful suggestions about what to see and what not to see. This was a place so nice, we didn't want to stay out too long but rather spend the afternoon and evening on-site. And there are books galore for avid readers! I went crazy reading!

Great location, old world charm, friendly hosts and a great tradition breakfast

All was fine

Hospitality

Narrow access to property

Not much .the hostess and host were very friendly .

Unfortunately it was shabby and very stuffy. The Linen , pillows etc were very smelly , a damp mouldy type smell , and the smell from the drains in the bathroom was dreadful .
