There is no internet in the hotel Luckily we did not order breakfast, we probably would not have eaten it. The rooms are small, the hotel is relatively new and very dilapidated. The shutter was torn and could not be lifted, the bathroom was smelly. The fan made a lot of noise which in the end we turned it off completely The pool was clean. The location is great.

Since the hotel is built around the pool, it is necessary to set hours when it is possible to make noise. It does not make sense to place a family with babies over the pool and let the youngsters put on music and make noise in the pool until three in the morning. The manager needs to set clear rules and enforce them as well. The guest should not ask other guests to be quiet in the middle of the night Take a tour of the rooms, check what can be fixed in the rooms. Clean the showers thoroughly so that the sewer does not stink the whole room. The shower was clogged in every shower.

It was almost like a hostel, they didn’t clean the room at all, didn’t gave us any new towels. The room was really small and it had a really bad smell, especially in the bathroom. And there were a lot of tourists having some kind of beach parties, and they threw up right in front of our room.

Cleaning and customer service

I think, the town is still recovering from post covid slump, but surely coming back to life. However, the staff was great, Sulfi, tharun, arshad, Jamil made the stay super comfortable and made it super holiday Awesome location and property. Must in arugam bay

I love this Place. It was my second time here and definitely not the last time. Lovely staff, beautiful garden, amazing pool with seaview and you hear the ocean the whole night. My place to be in Abay!

This hotel has been made in a perfect location for guests those who seek the pleasure by the sea and the pool. Whole atmosphere is very good. Room size is bit small. That’s the only thing I have noticed, rest of the facilities just wow 😊

Beach near the property

There's no TV in the room. No dustbins. No telephone line for room service . No front office number displayed in rooms. No enough cleanliness . We had few power cuts to our room and had to call both times to fix. Bad towels which damaged edges

the property is very near to the beach and downtown , well maintained- even in this Covid period -

less staff members and limited in house restaurant food choices - it may be due to the Covid period - should have bit concentrated on the cleaning near pool area since lots of street dogs entered to the pool area at night time to drink water it’s bit a hygiene concern- other than that it’s value for the money -

Hotel location is perfect and main place in Arugambay beach. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean, well maintained and fantastic beach view. I would like to recommend this hotel for locals and foreigners as well.

TV in the room would be preferred. Bathroom's facility must be improve. Front office staff must be well present with the guest, when they check in.

The infinity pool was what attracted us to the property. however the photos could not have been less representative of the reality. the pool was dirty and the garden grounds overgrown and run down.

The staff were rude and extremely unhelpful and in fact could not have done less to help. There were signs everywhere saying “free WiFi” and a “Roccos” network but when we asked for the password were told that they do not have WiFi?! The staff offered no help with luggage (and actually looked away) and my pregnant partner was expected to lug a suitcase up a flight of stairs. The property was dirty, the room had not been cleaned / swept when we got in it. There were used plasters stuck to the dilapidated sun loungers. There was rubbish strewn everywhere close to the rooms. The was one stained towel provided and a dirty sheet to sleep under. The rooms were very noisy - we hardly slept during our first night as there were animals banging and scratching at the doors and Windows. We were woken up at 4.30am by morning prayers. We asked for drinks and this couldn’t have been more of an effort for the staff. We booked and paid for Roccos for 2nights but it was so bad that we left after one. We settled our bill but true to form, they had no change so we actually over-paid for the drinks that we had had.I
