Location was fantastic. Compared to the most expensive Venice hotels, value was good. the manager, Asela, was exceptionally nice, efficient and helpful, miraculously finding us a water taxi to the airport on our last day when none seemed available (it was the day of the annual regatta) and then walking us to the taxi with our bags.

would have been nice to have breakfast included (even a small continental one) but not sure there was space for that. great location and service, however, more than made up for that.

Caring host and excellent location

The owner/manager was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Even when he was briefly stuck in the lift he still wished us a pleasant evening 😂. It seems the whole place will shortly be having a total refurbishment complete with new lift! The room and building was fine - clean, spacious enough and in a brilliant location. I think the refurbishment will be touching up minor scraggy details. To be honest, we weren’t there much as we were out enjoying the fantastic city as much as we could. The biscuits in the room each day was a nice touch. Being able to leave our luggage there on the last day was great.

I would have liked a really good tea selection but that’s a personal thing. The hair dryer was a bit pathetic and came apart, hopefully this will be updated in the refurb.

It is situated right in the city centre, just a few steps away from San Marco square. The furniture was new and everything was very clean.

We really like our stay at this hotel. Location was perfect (it is right next to San Marco). If you expect a quiet location then this is not your place. But you can't expect it to be quiet when it's right in the center. Everything was a stone's throw away - restaurants, bars, and sights. Room looked really beautiful and clean!

Amazing location, honestly couldn't have a better location less than 1 minute to St Marks Square and so handy for exploring Venice! Communication was great and they were so helpful when I asked for advise on travelling from the airport. My room was lovely, it was in the main building where the reception is, spotless and lovely big room and big bathroom

I would have given it a perfect score but the room could have done with tea and coffee facilities. I tried the restaurant they recommended when I booked and I wouldn't recommend, plenty of nicer restaurants nearby. My double bed was two singles pushed together, comfy apart from that though.

Hotel was near St Marco square, you could see basilica through the windows.

Hair dryer was not working. No teapot to make warm drink. Two connected beds instead of one big one as it was stated in description. No additional warm bedding. Personal not serviceable enough, when trying to solve problems. Interior very mediocre comparing from last stay in same hotel but in another building.
