The room was clean and staff welcoming.

When I made the original reservation I requested a quiet room with opening windows - I have a lung condition so fresh air is important for me. I also asked if it would be possible to book a table for dinner in the restaurant. We had been travelling all day in the car and were looking forward to a nice dinner and a good nights sleep before travelling on to Santander for the ferry back to UK. On arrival I spoke to reception about a table for dinner and was informed that the restaurant was only open Monday to Thursday. She told me that the nearest restaurant was 15 minutes walk, impossible for us as we are late 60's and were very tired. Our room on the 5th floor which, I was told was quieter, although very nice was both extremely hot and very noisy with traffic until at least 3 in the morning. Eventually we decided to walk around the corner to Carrefour express where we picked up a few items for a picnic in the room - we felt that a charge of 12 euros each for a sandwich and a few crisps was excessive. I feel very angry and upset that we were not informed of this hotels inability to provide adequate catering for guests. And that they were unable to provide a quiet room when asked. We have stayed at hotels all over France and Spain and I am very sorry to say this is by far the worst we have experienced. There are only two good things I can say about this hotel - 1) the reception staff were very polite. 2) the cleaners are excellent as our room and bathroom were clean.

Lovely hotel with very nice rooms and very helpful friendly staff. Within walking distance of 10/15 minutes to old town/ town centre. Also parking available free around the hotel and in what seems to be a good trouble free area.

Room of a decent size. Two basins in the bathroom! Friendly staff. Cute little move such as lavender pouches to help you sleep and a refreshing welcome drink (lime water) available at lobby. Private parking available.

20 mins walk from the city centre where all the restaurants are based. Quite a straightforward walk though. Area seems safe.

Location is good, a 15 minute walk from the center but way more chill and relaxed. Bed was super comfy, room was huge and fully equipped. Staff was super friendly and easy to get along with. Parking was available in the same building accessible via the Hotel elevator.

The only thing I can think about is the air conditioning unit in the room had a noticeable whine that was a bit annoying during the night. Easy fix, as it was not a hot night and we just turned it off.

The rooms were well appointed, large by European standards, and very comfortable. The proximity to walking the river park and to other sights in the city was great ! I felt very safe in the neighborhood. It was easy to find. Parking access was great and the staff extremely helpful at the desk, and everywhere else. The breakfast was amazing ! The bar in the lobby was great - with lots of places to gather and an excellent, helpful, friendly bar tender.

The restaurant on site was not open a couple nights due to staffing issues - and while there were lots of small cafes around within easy walking distance - not as many dinner places.

Staff were lovely, check in and check out was very easy. Any requests we had were dealt with promptly and staff were very helpful in regards to things we needed. The wooden cot for our baby was beautifully made up with a cot liner and our baby slept very comfortably. There was even a baby bath provided which was lovely.

The room had very few facilities as standard like a kettle , iron , cups , tea or coffee or spoons although whatever we requested was given to us. The room service menu was terrible and ridiculously overpriced and the hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with not many eating options nearby.
