Stoke By Nayland Resort

The location was lovely and it was quiet. Good on site parking. Big comfy bed.

Room had cobwebs in it, was not particularly clean and the water system could be heard running in the bathroom all night. Could not use the swimming pool as fully booked.

-The view from the room was beautiful as was the room itself which was also very spacious. -Coffee station was well stocked. -Shower was really good, excellent pressure which a lot of hotels often lack -Food was extremely tasty

-Mocktails extremely overpriced -No robes or slippers -Shower gel and shampoo dispensers did not work -No hand/body lotion **When I sent down in the morning to ask where to go for breakfast the response I got was "in the Lakes restaurant". I then had to ask a follow on question for directions. I think reception staff need a little more training on how to respond when a guest asks such a question ie their response should be to obviously tell the guest the restaurant and how to get there, I wouldn't be asking if I knew where it was and how to get there.

Great size room, comfy bed and clean bathroom. Water pressure could have been better. Breakfast was nice.

Room clean. Food options and quality very good. Nice walking route around golf course.

Spa facilities are dated and grubby. Loungers all squashed in close together. Needs updating badly. It’s stepping back in time to a spa from the 1980’s.
