The resort is so much worth long travelling! The island is like a wild jungle with villas hidden in the greenery. You don't really see other people except in the restaurants. We had a beach villa with pool several steps from the sea and reef. The reef is alive with lots of fish and also turtles, stingrays, octopus - fantastic for snorkeling! There are also lots of nice dive spots nearby. Dive center is excellent and the team is very friendly. Our 8 year old son had a great first diving experience. And our 4 year old daughter spent hours snorkeling. Restaurants are nice (buffet + a la cart) with a wide choice of food and drinks. Better take all inclusive, it pays off especially with kids. Our butler Shahin was very helpful. We spent fantastic time there!

Nothing, just a few comments. The seaplane is rather noisy so better take good headphones with noise cancellation with you. It helped us a lot to enjoy the flight (which is 75 min). Difficult to choose the type of villa using information on Booking.com and the resort's website because it is not clear where the best snorkeling is. Our villa 143 (and the neighbouring villas) is really several steps from the reef. Please see the photo of the resort map attached to my review.

Was just over my expectations! A place to must visit! I highly recommend it for any type of visit, couple , families, groups or alone you will have many things to do and enjoy the wonderful nature or having fun. Just an advice, book the water plane coz it’s not easy to reach! It was worth all the traveling. I am already planning when to go back! Thank you to all the people there for the wonderful stay!

Just perfect! And they could include The Oasis Restaurant on a Ultra All Inclusive package so people can enjoy the perfect balance of flavors in the menu.

It was an island that focused on quality, not quantity. The villas had privacy, the food was delicious and the menus varied with fresh ingredients and the selection of drinks was superb!

The waiting time at Male airport - but once you get to the island you easily forget the long journey there!

We visited Hideaway resort in February 2023. It was our best Maldives trip ever. We would like to highlight first the team spirit , the service and the management support during the entire trip. Secondly we loved our beach sunset villa (110) the interior, the size of the villa was outstanding. Beautiful view to the beach, super size garden for the kids with a cool pool. If you like snorkel or dive it’s the best place to visit. To find the marine life is literally 3 steps from the beach. I would recommend to take the all inclusive package to not worry about your food and beverage during your stay. ( specially if you drink alcohol ;-) We took that option and was a best choice. I would like to mention a few people and staff but actually the entire team was outstanding. In the restaurant: Shahid who serve us the best breakfast ;-) iIn Meeru Bar: Sonai who served the best food for us, Adi & Agus who run tireless with our cocktail. For families with kids: the kids club offers fantastic activities for the whole day. Our kids (11 and 9 years old) enjoyed it so much, it was hard to take them out of it. There is only one area what they should improve: the transfer from/to Male. As the island is far from the capital, there is only one seaplane per day so you most probably need to take the domestic flight and count with longer travel time. But beside that, the resort, the facilities beside that, the resort, the facilities and the service is perfect! We couldn’t expect more! Diving center: Sara who managed for us many beautiful diving courses. Resort Manager / GM Amir & Christophe who always keen to provide the best solution. Last but not least our butler Muson, who support us during the entire holiday with passion and creativity!

A bit far from Male.

The island experience is wonderful, must visit and will recommand the resort to my family and friends. Wonderful people who took care of us during our stay.

Awesome reasort island. Very nice stuff, 5 star food and top facilities. We booked the hotel 3 days before arrival and everything was great organized. Our butler Zareer was extremly nice and helped us with everything. Would love to come back.

The atmosphere was great. The staff were beyond amazing. There is always something to do. We played a little paddle, that was a good time. The food was great.

The room we got had a mad entry to the beach. However, there are rooms that were better for beach entry. But do keep in mind, the worse beach access overwater villas have better sun exposure. There was a stain in one of our sinks, that wasn't appealing during our stay. The food and activities are pricy, but I wouldn't know how to compare the prices with other resorts in the Maldives.

Serene peaceful quite island with all the facilities that are required for family, friends and couples. We travelled for our babymoon and they provided us a warm welcome with thoughtful decorations and welcome drink & cake. I chose the Water villa with the pool and it was super private for us. The view from the room and deck outside was mesmerizing. The staff was very courteous and our butler Yasmine went a step ahead for making the restaurant reservation and receiving us at the restaurants. The quality of the food in all the restaurants, the service from the staff and the follow up from the management in terms of the comfort of stay was very thoughtful. We stayed for 3 nights/4 days and did have a lot todo for fun. I was pleasantly shocked by the size of the island and activities that were available. I could do the snorkeling all day along, such a beautiful view and yet safe. The variety of breakfast buffet including varieties of fruits available was amazing. The reception right from the airport, support during the travel and lounge facilities were also thoughtfully planned. Given a choice, I will return back to the same resort again.

Nothing but a simple suggestion or room for improvement. During our buffet dinner on our first night of arrival, we felt that we were rushed by 9:45 PM to close the restaurant. Also, the resort could provide an option to reserve the restaurants before the arrival.

We stayed in the over water villa and we loved waking up to the ocean! The villa was spacious with the pool and huge tub. We did the sabrage which was a total joy! we did the scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling and the fish feeding which turned out to be rays and sharks feeding which was so much fun! Sam the sommelier was excellent during the sabrage course with his easy going nature. Our butler Anastasiia checked on us all the time and prepared the loveliest birthday welcome for me at breakfast and dinner as well. Our dive guide Quen was so ever patient with us and made us feel so comfortable after having not dived for 10 years. All in all we had an excellent trip!

The Island is far north with only one other resort island in the area. therefore still great diving spots which you basically have for yourselves. For us the best diving area we have visited in the maledives. we were max 2 divers plus dive master (Willie is just awesome!!). also the kind, helpful and professional crew on the boat and the personalised diving with lots of flexibility… best we have seen! thank you guys so much!!! The villas are large and comfortable with full privacy which is awesome. The buffet restaurant for breakfast and also dinner was great. The Indian breakfast dishes - wow! Service was also top notch. Special thanks to Alex, Shahid and Ali. Also Samsara Restaurant was exceptional both food and service. thanks Sonai, Areesh and the rest of the team. Also Ngurah was always smiling and very professional with his service. The sports Center also was very nice.

The villas though large have rather simple and bit old interior and exterior. Outside there is no comfi seating like a lounge or so. Two sun beds one small table with 2 simple chairs. No real character. Probably we were on the wrong side of the island so swimming in the ocean was rather not an option due to waves and broken corals with unclear water. The inside was nice but also not special and not like other resorts we have visited for the same price in the maledives. We arrived with our 2 year old daughter but it seems kids are not in focus generally. After asking we received a baby bed which was also not the newest with most basic bedding. No special kids welcome package or the like which we usually see. we had old bikes to which they fixed a child seat but only after an accident with the handle just braking off we received functioning bikes (3 days). Afterwards though we received lots of attention and invitation for a special dinner and so on. that was professional. Otherwise we did not really feel much service outside the restaurants. The butler service is rather a booking support for the restaurants via WhatsApp while we found out after one week by ourselves that there is an app for the resort. why can we not manage our bookings for restaurants etc directly and even via the app? The kidsclub also is very basic with few old toys and a very very basic outside playing area. surely not up to 5 star standard. Not in the restaurants or actually anywhere were any toys, drawing books or so available. every normal restaurant has this. Luckily we brought everything with us. Family friendly to me looks different.

there is a big reef with different kinds of fish. the hotel feeds stingrays and sharks every evening so that visitors can touch and photograph them. Everyone loves the Maldives! I would like to express my gratitude to the waiter from the restaurant for their care and jokes, Alex, Ahmed, and our assistant, which can not be said about the butler of friends. I want to say, do the owner of the hotel, take care of nature, if you have already received it in your possession, take care of it so that another generation can look at this miracle, take on at least a share of responsibility, for which you have tamed

very dirty Territory, in the morning all the garbage is washed ashore, a lot of plastic, once they confused plastic with an animal, they thought it was a two-meter squid, the children each time took out a bunch of garbage from the sea, they liked to save nature, there are also enough night inhabitants, bats and rats, mosquitoes. in the kids club, children are unattended, do not keep order. allow to offend big children, small ones, explaining that they have such a game. after several appeals from different families, they were able to take action, all this is nerves and is no longer associated with relaxation and heavenly enjoyment! Bounty is no longer the same.
