The apartment, the hospitality, the welcome when we arrived, helpfulness, kindness and happy, the ocean view. I bought my elderly mum for a little getaway and this place did not let me down... they were more than accommodating. And the apartment with ocean view 😍

Spindrift was a great pick for our family of four, we had unit 2 which was ground level right in front of the pool so we could watch our early teens swim from the comfort of the balcony. Transport to most activities was an easy 3 block walk to the team which is very regular and only .50c a trip or a $1.50 a day. There are great places to eat near by and plenty of options for groceries. If you haven't got a car I would suggest ordering a grocery delivery for when you arrive as there is only a grocer with in walking distance and while quite well stocked didn't have everything we needed. The appartment has all the basics you need.
Be sure to purchase washing liquid, dish detergent and toilet paper if your staying more than a few days, as you only get one “sample” sized pack of each.
And don't get confused by showing up at sandrift which is just down the road - apparently we werent the fist that day!

Great location - handy to tram station and local eateries and cafes.
We were in a side apartment and looked out onto the neighbors from a lot of windows. Could see the beach from one.
Beach was gorgeous. Didn't use the pool but would have if it had been warmer.
Liked that there was drier and washing machine in the apartment.
Windows and blinds were mouldy. You have to buy more toilet paper and dishwashing soap/powder which I feel should be included for the price. What was provided was poor quality.
Had to strip and make your own bed with clean linen which was dropped off at the door. If you expecting to have a holiday from household chores this is not the place to stay.

The view was excellent
The windows were very dirty and covered in cobwebs and were very difficult to open,we also found small cockroaches in the laundry.
