We liked the location close to shops and restaurants. We liked the local beach resorts. The river view was great. Excellent shower. Flexibility of owner re arrival departure times. Spacious. Lift.

The apartment was a little dark and unwelcoming on arrival. Kitchen needs updating and better/more crockery e.g. no bowls. Did not like the fact that a cleaner came into the apartment despite us using the do not disturb sign

On our arrival the WIFI was not working, but they got it fixed the same day. Your room and the beds are made tidy everyday!

There were other people in the building who were very noisy long after 10pm and you could hear everything and not get to sleep. Note: the coffeemaker is an italian (Moka pot) one, so we used instant coffee instead and were happy we brought our own kettle.

The apartment we stayed at was quite spacious, with a separate bedroom and a living room with a pullout sofa bed. The decoration was tasteful and stylish, it looked better than the photos on the website. There was everything necessary for a self-catering holiday, the kitchen was fully equipped and all of the apartment was sparkling clean. The shower was really spacious and comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the river view, it was so peaceful and beautiful, we loved it. Another surprise was a packet of local sweets that the landlady left for us, they were truly delicious, such a nice touch. Overall, we had a great stay at the apartment, the location was perfect for visiting both Cantabria and Asturias and it was easy to park in the village.

I can only mention two things that could be improved. Firstly, the sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable, while the bed mattresses in the bedroom weren’t too comfy either. And secondly, the WiFi was a bit on the slow side. But these weren’t really a problem for us, we enjoyed our stay in Bustio and would happily come again.

The facilities were excellent, and the host was exceptionally helpful and accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
