The place is wonderful, with the sea just there. They make delicious food and everyone is really nice. I slept in a bamboo cabin, with open bathroom to the stars. In the balcony they have another bed, perfect to chill out during the day, also common areas are great to stay and feel comfortable .
The water from the shower was too low in pressure but nothing trascendental

The pool is fantastic. It is huge, clean and a fabulous temperature. Our bungalow was huge, bed was comfortable, the bedding clean and the view over the ocean was amazing. We loved the open plan style, it was great going to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Breakfast was lovely.
We felt honoured to be invited to a major family ceremony at the property which included a meal of suckling pig and other delicacies at the end.
Some guests may feel it would intrude on their pool time and privacy, it may be prudent to advise guests in the future of any large upcoming ceremony at the property.
One of the doors into our bungalow was literally falling off its hinges and in desperate need of a proper repair, which meant we had to try and sidle in through one narrow opening.
The sliding door to the bathroom was also in need of repair and extremely difficult to open and close.

We stayed here in July 2025. Wi-Fi was free. The place seems more suitable for meditation or relaxation. The rooms were clean, with water, coffee, and tea provided. The outdoor bed was a pleasant touch. In the evening, it gets dark early, and the lighting in the room is quite dim. We had breakfast included and also purchased dinner. The accommodation does not accept credit cards. Site staff were friendly and trying to help. At night, it was very quiet—only the geckos could be heard. It’s important to use mosquito repellent spray. Beds were comfortable.
This location is not really ideal for staying with children if you're planning to spend time on the beach. The pool was great—we hardly left it. It’s also a good base for trips around the area.
There is definitely no beach in front of the hotel suitable for children, and you won’t be lying on the sand here. The area is filled with fishing boats and trash left by fishermen. The boats are parked on lava rocks.
