The sky bar was supposed to open at 4pm.. then the receptionist confirmed it would open at 5pm.. it never opened, so that was a shame, otherwise all good.

The views over the vega towards Salobreña old town and the Alboran Sea are sensational. The bedrooms are large and beautifully appointed. There are tea/coffee making facilities and even a choice of pillows (firm or soft), and beach towels in the wardrobe. The sky bar is lovely and there is a smallish infinity pool too. The staff are charming and super professional. We ate a really good dinner in the restaurant, accompanied by some very good wine - and a glorious Irish Coffee, that could only have been improved with some real double cream (I've never seen any in Spain).

Honestly, there is very little to not like about this lovely hotel. The door closure arm to our room (No2) needed attention as you had to push the door shut . . . What a hardship.

Fabulous Hotel. The room was huge with modern wet room & spitlessly clean. Large balcony with sea view. Rooftop restaurant was a little expensive but the food was very good. Beautiful views from the room. All the staff were so pleasant & cheerful. Don't really understand why it is only a 2 star. It is at the top end of 3 stars in my opinion.

I wouldn't mark the hotel down but for information purposes, the beach & restaurants are not within walking distance. About an 8 minute drive to a really nice beach with a number of restaurants.
