+ Top Aussicht (obwohl Standard-Zimmer) + Gutes Personal + Ausstattung hat alles funktioniert + Gute Lage in der Stadt, aktuell wegen Bauarbeiten an der Straße vorübergehend etwas schwer zu erreichen

- Verwirrendes Hotel-Konzept, viele Wege und verschieden Aufzugschächte die nicht zum selben Ziel führen - Fitnesstudio uninspiriert, heiß, wenig Geräte - Auch aus Poolbereich hätte man mehr machen können, Zugang zudem nur über Etage mit Seminarräumen, führt zur zwangsläufigen Durchmischung von Badegästen mit Anzugträgern

Spacious and clean rooms, hotel is well located, not too far from city center. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The swimming pool is great for practicing (20m long). The breakfast buffet had a nice selection

No negative for this hotel, just that if you’re a gym addict, you will be a bit disappointed since the gym is limited, but it does the trick for a couple days

This is a good hotel in a fairly central location so you're able to get to most attractions in Jakarta quite easily. The Harmoni building is fairly well known to Grab drivers so its easy to book a Grab without the driver getting lost. The rooms are clean and there is room service every day. Check in and check out took about 5 minutes and the front desk staff could speak English well. The staff are attentive and action requests quickly like when my rain head shower was not working. On my first night, I was provided with a selection of desserts which was a nice welcome touch. When the elevator was stopped for maintenance, guests were notified in advance and a fruit platter was provided. The hotel is close to Gambir station which is convenient for tourists like myself who wish to take the luxury train to Yogyakarta or an intercity train to Bandung.

The beds were slightly uncomfortable. I like a firm mattress but the one here was a bit too hard. The comforter/quilt was also too heavy so you'd end up sweating. The top hotels/resorts would usually have a desk which help you book tours and the really good hotels/resorts offer tours at at competitive prices and have tour companies/tour guides that the hotel/resort have properly vetted. Vertu not having this type of service is a hugely missed opportunity to make guest experience significantly smoother. As an international tourist, this is especially a massive value add in a city like Jakarta where people could hardly speak fluent English and so there are people who claim themselves as 'tour guides' but could barely speak English and barely know anything about the place they are touring you in. There are also 'photographers' in some attractions like MONAS, Istiqlal, Jakarta Cathedral who are simply people with a camera but can't actually take good photos or take direction in English to take the photos you want them to take. The mini fridge in the room wasn't strong enough, in a city like Jakarta which is too hot, it would be good to have a minifridge which completely freezes your water bottle so when you're out and about, the water you brought with you is still cold.

Booking.com was bad. For no apparent reason my credit card was flagged bad, and i had to rush to the hotel to make the payment with the same card. And the support from vertu was equally bad as it took them more 2 hours to respond via whatsapp.
