Gorgeous views, great classes, amazing family

Shuttle service was limited

The Agriturismo Primaluce is in a beautiful location with magnificient view onto the Golf of Naples and the Vesuvius. The owners are a kind and humorous family that makes the environment feel welcoming, warm, and full of life. Additional to the stay we participated in a tour of their farm, one of their Pizza cooking classes (neatly organized, easy to follow with a delicious Margherita as result) and a demonstration on how to make caciotta and mozzarella cheeses. We’d highly recommend to combine a stay with this.

Nothing everything was brilliant

We stayed at a lovely small farm accommodation with only 4 rooms, and the host themselves were very friendly and welcoming.The setting was very rural and peaceful,which may suit some travellers but it is important to know that getting into sorrento depends entirely on the property shuttle times.The transfer times were quite spread out, for eg around 8.30am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm,with the last pickup back being 10pm Because of this we felt quite restricted,and didn't really get the chance to properly experience sorrento in the evening.Taxies were expensive at 70euro to take you up to farm,but to note they couldn't go up the whole way as road was to narrow,you would have to walk rest of the way anyone with a mobility issue would struggle I think as it's on long winging steep incline.we also felt that alot of the attention was focused on the pizza making classes held at the property several times a day rather than on the paying guests staying there,it left us feeling a little overlooked.In addition some of the facilities mentioned on booking.com were either unavailable or not ad expected during our stay which was disappointing.
