Good value for money, well kept, clean, with additional facilities like fridge and microwave.

The hosts seemed very concerned about my comfort but I don't think it was genuine. I got ill while at the hostel (40 degrees fever) and for me moving out was a huge sacrifice. Although the host seemed friendly and understanding, I felt that her remark about me checking out late was a bit insensitive, especially when I had practically everything packed only 8 minutes after check-out time though I clearly wasn't feeling well. There's a crazy black cat outside which meows like he's going to kill you.

The owner was wonderful. Quite accommodating. She provided us with some restaurant recommendations. There’s a little kitchen with coffee and tea available. Four showers. A sink with mirror inside and outside the bathroom was convenient, especially for getting ready in the morning.

Only a single toilet to be shared amongst all guests.

The hostel is super clean and comfortable. Although little away from the station (about 1km, totally walkable) , the hosts offered to pick up us from the station in the morning and let us keep the luggage for the day. The best part was the handwritten note near the door was sooo good and took the personalized hospitality to next level. This Small gestures made our day. They also offer free small bicycles to roam the city. Am coming back just to stay here again.

One of the most hospitable hostel I ever stayed. The owner is very attentive and helpful - from the basic guidance on where to eat, where to go sightseeing to very kind attention about my sunburned skin condition, and treatment from contact with jellyfish. Hiroko-san kindly picked me up from the station, so my very first day started with pleasant talk and no stress on finding the bus stop or hostel. The area inside is very clean, shower rooms are definitely renovated not that long ago and always kept dry to prevent mold. The toilet looks oldy a bit, but yet clean. They have a small kitchen with coffee, tea, and teapot always available. I stayed in the room with bunk beds and it was spacious, had a desktop PC, bed light, and very nice makeup mirror with extremely bright light. The mattress is absolutely comfortable.

The bed itself seemed a little bit short, narrow, and low (if you're on a lower level). I'm just 164, but few times at night I woke up because bunched into the bed frame with my legs or feet) - dunno if it was me taking some wrong position or the bed size. And when I was sitting on the bed, I had to be careful about my head. But there is nothing wrong or somewhat inconvenient except for this :)
