Vier geräumige Schlafzimmer bequem schlafen 12 und 4 Badezimmer mit WC und 2 WCs mit Handtüchern zur Verfügung gestellt. Entertainment leicht gemacht mit dem massiven Bildschirm Veranda mit Esstisch für 12 und große Schnittsitzbereich.
Gourmet voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über Gas-Kochfeld, Edelstahl Geräte und essen in bar für 6 und Frühstückstisch für 8 Personen. Formelle Esszimmer für 12 Gäste und ist leicht Zugang zur Küche.
Überdachter Pool, der das ganze Jahr über beheizt werden kann und einen weiten Blick auf den See bietet. Überdachter Bootssteg für Ihre Bootsanbindung. After searching for a long time for a house that would suit all of our needs we finally found the Retreat! We love the layout of the house as the parents and grandparents stayed on the upper level and all of the children were on the lower level. The kitchen was fabulous, there were plenty of bathrooms, and the outside space was nothing short of spectacular! The use of paddleboards and kayaks was wonderful and the kids loved the heated indoor pool!
In addition after renting a portable ramp from Mobility Plus Lake Norman, the house was very accessible for my husband who is confined to a wheelchair.

This was everything and more than we expected. Plenty of room to spread out and wow what a large kitchen. The island was huge and accomodated many cooks. We especially enjoyed the pool which was covered from the sun. No worries about sunscreen. My husband had a wonderful beginning to retirement. You won’t find a better property than this.

We have been doing beach vacations for years and decided to change it up for a lake trip and we were all so glad we did after the experience we had. The pictures do not do the property justice, everything was clean and well taken care of and Gail was such a great host from booking to checking in.

The Retreat was everything we expected and more. It was the perfect spot for enjoying time with friends and family. Dog friendly was a huge plus. It is a great entertainment spot.

This property was ideal for a friends/family getaway. The house was very nicely done and we all enjoyed the art and "finds" that gave the house great character! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed as was every room of the house! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property!!!
As a housekeeping note to the management: We realized that
we were responsible for washing the towels when we left. That explained why we found some of the towels not to be clean on arrival. This could definitely be handled better based on the cleaning fee.

Our first visit to Lake Norman was perfect! Our families enjoyed the paddle-board and kayak that were provided. We spent the majority of our time on the upper covered porch which was perfect for the grandchildren. We rented a pontoon to enjoy lake activities and the property manager was great to work with. Overall we would visit this property again.

Very well furnished home. Spacious and comfortable. Pool was fantastic and we really enjoyed the large covered deck. The lake was also easy to access and great for swimming. The kayaks are paddle boards provided were fun to explore the local waters. Highly recommended this property!

The Retreat is my favorite place to stay with people of different ages. The seniors enjoyed the screened porch, reading, looking at the art, resting and doing some food prep while the younger adults & teens boated during the day.
We all got together for dinner and the early evening. The. The younger group then enjoyed the lower level for games, movies, etc. during the later evening.
We would love to stay at the retreat again!

A retreat for a mix of generations.

Kayaks at the home, easy rental of boats and wave runners and if you have never been to Lake Norman, it is huge and beautiful. You could spend days touring the lake and hardly seen the same sights. My family went from being "beach" people to "Lake" people in two days. Coming back for sure, a wonderful peaceful week with the family. We were 7 but the house sleeps about 12 or so. You will enjoy every minute. The house is well appointed with everything you will need, pack your clothes and personal items, done.

Best Rental on the Lake!
This property had everything. Lots of space, plenty of seating for the entire group, beautiful decor/art, stocked kitchen, great fire pit, beautiful backyard and an amazing dock. We've been coming to the lake for years and this is the best rental we've ever had by far. I can't think of anything that wasn't provided or anything we did not like about it. It was perfect!

Our family had a wonderful time at The Retreat. We enjoyed every aspect including the pool, game room and dock. The house is just as shown and food is the only thing we needed to bring. Even the teenagers were happy! We would rent again without any hesitation. Thanks.

Lovely house, gourmet kitchen with every possible dish and pan, large and gracious bedrooms, a fabulous extra large screened porch where we ate every meal, fun pool for toddlers and older kids, and a fabulous collection of art (paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and more).

"The lake" in general is my "happy place." The Retreat makes it nearly perfect. You could show up here with only your bathing suit, toothbrush, a boat, & some groceries & you'd be set for a while! Seriously though, this house has so many great features & is so well-appointed, it's almost unbelievable. This was my 2nd time renting it; family & friends all loved it on both occasions. Gail was responsive to our every need. There were a few minor issues & she handled them quickly & efficiently. I will definitely try to stay here again!

The house and setting are beautiful. We had no issues with our stay, other than the grill was not working. The host promptly tried to address this, but the repairmen weren't able to come in time for us to enjoy it. Otherwise perfect. There was plenty of space for our group of 11. The lake is very nice - swimming, kayaking, fishing and tubing were all enjoyed. Kitchen was so well stocked! Thanks for a great stay!

Great time at The Retreat
Absolutely perfect stay at The Retreat. The property was great, just like the listing said - all very high quality, comfortable, and the indoor heated pool was amazing. Great sheets/beds, high quality cookware/amenities, and lots of art throughout. Property manager was super helpful and easily reachable. Property was decorated for Christmas and was perfect for our early-Christmas trip. Can't recommend enough!
