has everything i needed. all the basic amenities were covered. they had a beautiful balcony surrounded by trees and a communal laundry facility which helped me wash the clothes when needed

some renovation would be helpful to fix broken tiles, ripped screen doors, and a few cracks on the walls. also the electric stove doesn’t work properly and takes awhile to heat up. the heater doesn’t warm up the rooms so i had to sleep on the lounge room afew nights coz the heater only worked there.

Location was excellent

Supplying your own sheets, pillow cases and towels is absurd! Just because that's how you did it in the 70's, is no reason to continue. Also, there's 4 or 5 units in this building. I'm sure they could provide one strong WiFi signal to cover them all. Almost every traveller requires to be in touch in some way and being cheap and not having this service, which by today's standards, in an essential feature in all accommodations'. The property owners are truly stuck in the past.

Having said that,.. the beds were quite comfortable although no linen is supplied and no towels. The kitchen utensils were well catered and the shower was hot. The verandah upstairs is great for being outside in relative privacy and nicely furnished. It's a cute place with beachy character and a short walk to the beach with nice cafes across the road. It's a great location.

The oven was non functional and was not fixed after l reported this.. we were there for 8 nights. The hot plates for cooking were unstable and difficult to cook on. Very unsafe with kids around. Tiles and paint work in fair condition. The owner is not interested in maintenance it seems. And only one set of keys that are tricky in the security doors....

Bed broken and unbearable to sleep on as totally tilted. Stunk of sewerage 7days out of 8day stay. Couldn't use balcony as stunk so badly. Kitchen sink blocked and gurgling up black stinky substance. Security doors both broken. Cockroaches and ants in bathroom and kitchen. Only a roof fan in main bedroom which was noisy none in kids room. Peeling paint through out broken tiles in bathroom. When we complained we were greeted with "thanks for letting us know". Only the blocked sink was fixed. No compensation offered! This ruined our holiday. Poor sleep, stinking hot and bad smell equals no fun.
