Resort hotel that able to let you enjoy the resort facilities yet close to others amenities or town. Most of the staff are friendly, but some could be better. Over all it was good. Some details were put into consideration to makes you feel the true Malaysian hospitality with the welcome fruits and Chinese new year cookies in the room during Chinese new year. Kudos to the team! I’m impressed.

There are many picnics and glamping by the beach outside the resort that caused heavy traffic jam on the way to the hotel itself. So getting an e-hailing or taxi might be a challenge. Other than it’s a prestige and exciting resort, I also felt the maintenance of the facilities & the room needs to take into consideration and do some repairs/ face-lift for example… 1. the lifts at the Kinabalu wing, near the gym were not working properly. 2. the tv and safe box were not working properly as well; so I’ve spent 2 hours in the room, waited for the staff to repair the safe and the TV. 3. The toilet door also cant really fully open and stay at that position. So it was kind of gets in the way when you go in and out of the toilet. 4. Also notice some part of the furnitures in the room were broken.

Room is spacious, staff is well trained and courteous, facilities are so good until you don’t need to leave the “resort”.

The room was ground floor so no Mountain View, a view of some washed up boats Balcony still had someone’s old cigarette butt Food ran out at coco joes so had spag Bol, which was nice, but no real choice Very busy reception for check in and luggage delayed getting to our room Stayed at a 5 star resort after and it was so much better all round Did get a free fruit basket for apology for delayed luggage but left handwritten complaint with staff in relation to other items and never received a response

It has its own private beach, the marina place is conveniently located in the hotel and they're very organised with the islands trips. Breakfast buffet is big and has everything for everyone. Excellent WiFi. The spa is beautiful and they have sunset tai chi classes.

The place is huge, so the room could be very very far away from everything.... The pool is always busy, I feel they could have another pool or 2 on the property.

Great pool, friendly staff, superb breakfast. Beautiful beach and waterfront, we managed to spot a sea turtle.

I found it very difficult to get drinking water in this place. They only supply 3 bottles a day for our family, and it looks like we have to pay for more at the poolside bar if we need. It's just drinking water guys, install water coolers or something. It's quite off-putting.

Hospitality is great. Our toddler was throwing a tantrum so my husband had to leave with him the minute we sat down for buffet dinner at Cafe TATU. The staff helped to pack some food from the buffet and delivered to the room for him. Another staff at Coco-Joe's helped to cheer our toddler up when he refused to take his medication at dinner. Concierge is super helpful with the trips booking too. A big shout-out to all your customer service teams!

They are probably short handed so the room wasnt ready when we checked in. Staff came to change sheets etc when we were in the room. Waited for an hour for our luggages to be delivered to our room n they sent our luggages to someone else. However the staff managed to sort it out. Not a big deal.
