Princess Kamala Beachfront Hotel

Wonderful stay — perfect way to finish our honeymoon My wife and I stayed here during the final part of our honeymoon, and we had a wonderful experience. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel and asked if our room could be prepared and ready for us, as we had a late-night flight and were expecting delays due to the incoming monsoon weather. The staff were more than happy to accommodate our request, which made arriving after a long journey so much easier. It was an excellent first impression. Our room was very clean, tidy and well presented when we arrived. The bathroom was spotless, the king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and having direct pool access from our room was a huge bonus. Being able to step straight outside and into the pool whenever we wanted was incredibly convenient. Room service was also excellent. The menu had a great variety of food and plenty of options, which was especially convenient when we simply wanted to relax in our room. The biggest highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, welcoming and genuinely accommodating. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and Kamala itself. It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing, which was exactly what we wanted for the final part of our honeymoon. Overall, we loved our stay. The combination of a clean and comfortable room, direct pool access, great room service, peaceful surroundings and genuinely wonderful staff made this a memorable end to our Thailand honeymoon. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Kamala and would happily recommend it to couples or anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. There were a few areas that we felt could be improved. We were advised that there was rear access to the property; however, the access gate was locked and unfortunately wasn’t available for us to use during our stay. Having this access available would have made getting in and out of the property more convenient. Our main concern was the flooring around some of the wet areas. The tiles in the bathroom and around the pool became quite slippery when wet, so we had to be particularly careful. The tiles on the opposite side of the small access bridge across the pool were also slippery, even when only slightly wet. Getting in and out of the pool could also be difficult in certain areas. There wasn’t consistent stair or step access around the pool, so depending on where you were, climbing out wasn’t always easy. The small bridge across the pool was another area we felt could use some attention. It felt a little rickety underfoot and could also become slippery when wet. Improving the stability and grip in this area would make it feel much safer and more comfortable to use. Inside the room, the pillows were a little inconsistent in terms of comfort and support. Some were comfortable, while others were less so. There were also a couple of minor maintenance issues with the doors. The shower door appeared to be slightly out of alignment with its rail, which made it difficult to close properly. Similarly, the double sliding doors leading outside were quite difficult to close at times. None of these issues ruined our stay, and our overall experience was still very positive. However, addressing the slippery surfaces, pool access, bridge stability and minor door maintenance would make an already enjoyable property even better.

Great location, really nice property for the price. Really lovely communal spaces (foyer , pool area) and our pool access room was great.

Very slippery pathways dangerous in the rain. Staff were okay but very slow service suggests more training required to improve efficiency and guest experience. The room servicing was often not done until late afternoon.
