Breakfast was fine - carpark across the road with a very reasonable rate (cheaper than the official hotel car park). Good location - walking distance to town centre, plenty of shops and restaurants if one would like to eat out.

Did not like getting double charged for the stay (hotel + booking.com) - hopefully this matter will be resolved.

Breakfast was super - loads of options and healthy alternatives, Lovely woman who was the hostess, etc. made me feel very welcome. The location was perfect. 12 minute walk to train and less than that to the beautiful timbered and slate houses and churches. Goslar is amazing and the Rammelsburg mine should be visited!

tourist information was a bit vague and the local tourist book was presented as a gift then I was charged for it at check-out.

There is a parking lot, but must pay extra for it. The room is simple, clean but very standard. Thiny walls, you hear everybody on the corridor..

This hotel deserves the curse on all hoteliers who inform their guests breakfast runs from 8:30 to 10:00, and where, when you descend at 9:00, you discover that little or no food is left, and that no more would be made -- so: in the basket, no boiled eggs; beside the yogurt container, no bowls for the yogurt; in the yogurt container, no yogurt! Not even any silverware! Aargh! Eventually, the woman running the breakfast room went off and made a burnt omelet for my husband. I don't know what happened to the other six guests who arrived in the breakfast room after us. She said because it was a holiday, no one was around. The guests were! If you can't staff a hotel on a weekend, well, close the hotel.
