Getting a little bit “tired”

I just loved the overall warm, homely feeling of the hotel. All the staff was so lovely and welcoming. A really good location and really posh rooms for a reasonable price !! 😍😍

We stay here often when we visit family. We can have a late check in up to 11pm. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a good assortment of teas, coffees, biscuits and chocolates. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have booked to stay here again at Christmas when we visit family again

The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and nicely furnished.

We are regular visitors to Yorkshire and there are a number of hotels that we return to time and time again. First impressions of the Red Lion were good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Im afraid that an incident occurred that spoiled this first impression. We ordered dinner on the second night of our stay but there was a mix up with our food order. We were shocked and upset that a member of the bar staff told us very rudely that we had been given what we had ordered. This spoiled what would have been a pleasant stay.
