Pentire Newquay Cornwall Hotel

I got a great last minute deal, so the price I paid was very fair for the facilities. The pool was a nice bonus for the price. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the receptionist particularly who gave me some ideas of places to visit and was super helpful checking me in.

If I'd paid full price for the room, I think there were a few things I might not have been so happy about. The bathroom ceiling needed painting, the floors throughts were a little uneven. The water temperature fluctuated a little, most of the time fine though.

Loved the swimming pool location to easy access bus routes and walks to fistral beach and other beaches. Loved that I mentioned my birthday and they made my room look pretty which was a lovely surprise

Room was a bit compact and a dog barking in the morning which woke me up but as soon I addressed it with staff the owner was informed.

A year ago we booked into another Newquay hotel nearby on the front and said never again as they were so rude and unhelpful. Later we had a fine for not paying parking on the day we left. So, our relatives said next time try the Pentire. On arrival at the Pentire, ELLIE (she wanted her name in capitals) on reception was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and we could see the sea too. The bar service was excellent as was the evening meal. Shaun (MMA from Leeds) was clearly managing the services very professionally. Thank you for a lovely stay and we’ll definitely be back.
