So close to the beach and town .

Very very friendly and welcoming hosts. Room was good, nice bathroom. Breakfast OK. Decor of hotel different, but good. Position of house 5 minutes walk from see front. Spacious room for parking off road.

Nothing to dislike. Could have a little of breakfast options on view. Eg, cereals, yoghurt,fruit, instead of being asked if wanted.

Staying in the Bedlam’s house was one of the best decisions we made in our trip to Newquay. You feel you are in a familiar environment as there are just x3 rooms in the house. They make you feel like at home and treat you with extreme kindness. They are super flexible and are open to listen to requests and will make everything it is in their hands to help you.

Bedlam house is like a home from home, it's quirky and simply unique (good job Mark!) and perfect location for the beach and town; only a short walk away so no need for transport which is a bonus! Have honestly never felt so welcome and comfortable in any accommodation before and Caz and Mark are the perfect hosts, always on hand to answer any questions; surf boards and wetsuits are available to borrow if needed, netflix available in a beautiful lounge and breakfast is spot on and comes with the best cup of tea you will find anywhere that you stay - I promise!! Also - homemade cakes always available in the entrance hall! Thanks Caz, your carrot cake was AMAZING! Can't wait to see you guys next year! Hope you see this and are keeping well, Nicole & Jonathan :) xx

Honestly, nothing. The bed was a little soft for us personally but otherwise our stay was perfect.

What a great place to stay, nothing was too much trouble for Carole and Mark. Amazing choice for breakfast, fresh coffee, home baked bread, all the best ingredients used, Breakfasts were delicious. Added bonus were the home baked cakes, fresh bottled water added to the room daily, along with coffee/tea/chocolate and biscuits. Perfect location into Newquay town, not too far to walk but just out enough to miss the hussle and bussle. The main beaches were all in walking distance. Recommend trying the local restaurants but would book at the begining of your stay or you won't get in. There are great choices too, Tapas, Thai, India, Steak house to name a few. Give the pub a try at the bottom of the road too, great choice of beers and very friendly staff and locals. For travelling around I wouldn't bother using the car, we didn't we caught the bus everywhere, £5 each travel anywhere in Cornwall. Even if Bus travel isn't for you at least try the Padstow coastal bus, its a great experience, must sit upstairs in the open though for the better experience.

The property was very nicely decorated and the room was lovely. The bathroom was small but very well finished and spotlessly clean. The hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. There was an outdoor shower perfect for use after the beach and also surf and body boards available for guest use along with wetsuits. The location was great, just 2 minutes walk from Tolcarne beach and 10 minutes walk into the town. Off road parking was also a bonus.

The beds were comfortable but the pillows weren't great. There was a lovely garden however this was not available for guest use, so the only downside was no outside area to use, although this is not a massive problem given that there are lots of lovely outdoor spaces in Newquay.
