A beautiful location, and a charming Hotel. The rooms were comfortable if a little dated. There was a bath, that was a plus, but there was only a bath towel each and a face cloth, no hand towels were provided, although I believe they were in other rooms, so possibly that was just an error on behalf of housekeeping staff.
The restaurant was à la carte, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the standard of the price we were charged. We had salmon, but the potato served with it was cold. Dessert on the other hand was lovely.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Working radiators in the rooms and bathrooms which is important to dry wet gear (a simple thing but super important if eg you are walking the WHR and have everything in your rucksack). Amazing breakfast, the children loved the pancake maker!

Old world and calm, wonderful area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent, lovely menu and top class presentation.
The bedroom was very small, the bed tiny only 140 and low down for a double bed. More like a camp bed. No table in the the room or surface nor the bathroom.
