Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, very friendly owners, made to feel very welcome with a gift bag of snacks waiting in our room. Good quality bedding and towels
Excellent full English breakfast with the option to choose and select alternative breakfasts, including vegetarian, fruit and yoghurt, toast, and cereals.
Tea and coffee facilities with a fridge in your room
Very sparkly decorations
Would have preferred fresh milk instead of sachets as there is a fridge in the room, but this was not an issue as there is a local shop just across the road

I had a a single room & for a small space I could not have asked for more. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the little extra touches such as the welcome goodie bag & dressing gown were appreciated. The location was perfect for what I was visiting Blackpool for. I didn't have breakfast, but only because I am not a morning person! The proprietor was very friendly, available but not 'there' all the time. I was told to treat the Sorrento House as my home whilst I was staying there & as a solo traveller I felt very safe. I plan to stay again.

Staying here felt less like being a guest and more like being truly taken care of. The host and hostess went above and beyond to make every moment easy and welcoming. The breakfast which was amazing, is also made by the host himself. You can tell how much care went into every detail—nothing was overlooked, from the thoughtful little touches to the incredible comfort of the space itself. It’s rare to find a place that feels both completely effortless and so well thought out. A genuinely wonderful stay.
