This is a gem, close to Cherbourg and close to all the D Day sites. Gorgeous house, lovely surrounds, very good restaurant.

The room was big and clean. The staff was very friendly and always prepared to help. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of everything. The property is beautiful and in very quiet neighborhood.
It is close to Utah beach and but other than that is it not close to anything.

Excellent location from Utah Beach as we moved from Bayeux to here to make the trip shorter. Older structure that's been updated with modern amenities. Dinner was superb and breakfast was great as a typical European buffet, but with the ability to have eggs cooked to order. The grounds are beautiful, and all beef dishes are from their own herd. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
As we have found at most hotels in Europe, they use a shower floor that is extremely slick. We would prefer a shower floor with some type of texture, or the option to put down a mat. This hotel does not have an elevator and you will either be required to carry suitcases up all stairs, or pack a day bag to make it easier and leave your suitcase in the car (if you have one).

The property was beautiful and had everything you could want-including bicycles. The room was lovely, bistro table & chairs outside of the room, picnic tables on the property.
This is not a problem just a cultural difference-no screens on the window and no air conditioning. The temps were lovely however and this was not an issue during our stay.
