Apartment Bistrik is on the hill overlooking Sarajevo. it’s about a 10 min walk to Latin Bridge and the old town. Unlike other posts, we didn’t find the location hard to find as the host Ajla gave us very specific directions. we like the garden and the many fruit trees on the premise (it was plum season and fresh of the trees!). Ajla’s mom told us we were their first guests from the United States. we can see that the family takes great pride in the house and we are happy to share with fellow Americans if you have a chance to visit Sarajevo do look out for Apartment Bistrik. it’s spacious, quiet with great view of the city!

when we arrived, it was raining, and it was quite muddy from parking lot outside of the garden to the house. everything else was fine for our short stay there

Amira hospitality, Ajla her daughter very helpful, got us a driver and suggested nice places to visit, great immediate response to everything asked, space is spacious, outdoors great view, very well maintained, clean, comfortable

Small things maybe a microwave. Newer bedding and towels will give extra value but still not major, walk uphill maybe difficult for some but taxies are cheap to get you from old town

Great location on the mountain slope with superb views, short walking distance to old town of Sarajevo. Large terrace for sitting with views, comfortable sofas in living room, in summer swimming pool.

In the house are 2 appartements and there is not enough hot water for showering all of them in the evening - it is enough for 2-3 people and the you need to wait couple of hours for another hot water. The bathroom in upper appartement was in poor condition - the water did not flow away and stay on the floor.

Property with an excellent view and walking distance to old town. A bit tricky to find ( google maps shows strange option ) , but doable. Large apartment , comfortable stay in separate bedrooms for 6+ people.

Well, almost nothing )) But we failed to find a bottle of sparkling wine in the area around. In case you want to sit on the terrace with the glass of something - plan it in advance .

Wow. We were doubtful that it included everything in the pictures, but it did. Amazing place. 10 mins walk to the old town. Host was incredibly welcoming, would be our first stop in Sarajevo next time.
