Great spot and staff are very helpful and the place was good

We love this quirky hotel, with guitars available to borrow and music inspired decor, and try to stay here whenever we are in Vienna. The staff are always lovely, it is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is good. They provide a lot of choice including overnight oats, smoked salmon, stuffed cherry tomatoes, crudités, cheeses, charcuterie and good bread as well as pastries and hot choices. It is part of an historic building so the rooms are not large but they are well planned, and the location is very convenient near Wien Mitte for the airport train or tram/metro system. It is also close to the Hundertwasserhaus and some good restaurants. Quite a few other places are with walking distance if you are happy to walk 20-30 minutes. There ia also a nice outdoor sun lounge and separate yoga space on floor 5.

The gallery kitchen which supposedly replaces tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms is a bit hit and miss. There may or may not be teabags (proper tea, as opposed to fruit or herbal drinks) or coffee sachets and the hot water tap is temperamental to say the least. Also, it is on floor 5 which is a bit inconvenient if your room is on floor 4.

Sehr unfreundlicher Empfang, warum eigentlich? Andere Mitarbeiterinnen waren glücklicherweise besser aufgelegt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind architektonisch wahrscheinlich innovativ gemeint, aber eine Katastrophe. Nach dem Duschen steht die Toilette unweigerlich unter Wasser. Schimmlige Silikonfugen ... WC-Türe läßt sich nicht schließen, Luftabzug fehlt. Klimaanlage war zwar laut aber nicht wirksam, dafür waren die Bettdecken bei sommerlich heißen Temperaturen winterlich warm.
