From the minute we arrived we knew we were going to love our stay at Villa Agapi Mou. The stunning pool, the lovely outside space (beautiful planting) and the incredible VIEW - which was the best thing of all! The location of the villa was also wonderful - tucked away and extremely peaceful, surrounded by green hills on either side, and yet only a short walk to the beach and several lovely restaurants and 5 minutes from Sami in a car. It felt very private yet accessible to everything which was great. inside the villa was great - very comfortable, decorated nicely, large communal areas for eating and relaxing. The organization and hosting was also excellent. we were met by Clio, who showed us the way to the Villa from the airport and explained everything about the villa and the surrounding locations. We also needed to ask for a BBQ and some extra glasses during our stay and these were provided to us promptly. We felt very looked after.

A minor gripe but because some of the wardrobes were locked, we were unable to hang all of our clothes up (especially long dresses - there was no hanging facility for long clothes upstairs in either bedroom) which was a shame, and we needed to keep them in the bags. Also, I wouldn’t recommend that any young children stay in the mezzanine bedroom floor as it’s quite precarious - there’s a bannister that could easily be slipped through and a very big ladder to climb up to reach it with no hand rails. Our children (12 and 15) were fine and quite enjoyed the novelty but I’d be aware if you have younger children.

Gorgeous location and views, excellent pool and very comfortable. Great host (Damianos) too!

While the main contact, Damianos (host) was lovely and very responsive (and immediately helped us with a local taxi on our last night!), we had a few niggles during the week that we asked the lady who showed us into the villa to help with (Jasna). While she was very nice and knew the island very well, she provided a couple of bits of misinformation about the vill and was very slow to respond to our queries. All in all, a great villa for a family to stay in though!
