De rustige omgeving. Prachtige cottage met heerlijke bedden.

The location was fantastic - and we were provided with all the basics needed.

One of the ACs were not working - this did make it very hard to sleep as it is so hot there

Dam and mountain views. Quiet, clean, and fully equipped cottage. Loved being in the pear orchard :) Close to Franschhoek town. There is a walking trail, which we will do next time. We felt very safe.

The setting is lovely. And the cottage was spacious for two people.

We stayed on a windy night and the noises were terrifying. It really sounded like 10 men were trying to break in and like there were people walking around and rattling things. Every now and again something went thud and bang. We slept appallingly. Also, there was something wrong with the en suite plumbing. Smells from the sink were noxious.

Lovely quaint cottage, perfect for a one night sleep over.

Останавливались на одну ночь в коттедже Гусь. Когда мы приехали, мы были в диком восторге, это не описать словами. Мы очень сильно пожалели, что слишком мало времени, чтобы насладиться этим местом. Фото не передают той красоты и атмосферы. Очень аутентично, необычно, колоритно. Мы потратили много времени, чтобы все это снять на фото, видео и на дрон. Пейзажи как с картинки, сам дом как из фильма. В доме 2 душа с туалетом, печь-камин, очень уютно было сидеть вечером у камина и пить вино. До остановки трамвая 30 минут пешком. Центр города оживленный, но магазины закрываются в 17.00, рестораны работают допоздна. Если повезет с погодой и будет ясно, то пейзажи будут гораздо лучше, чем в пасмурную и облачную погоду, так как будет видно потрясающие горы. Есть резервный источник питания, сброс нагрузки никак не повлиял на отдых. В холодильнике вода, молоко и за разумные деньги вино.

В доме прохладно, зимой наверное совсем холодно. Мы были 6 ноября. Но есть печь-камин и матрасы с подогревом (впервые такое видели).

Great location and atmosphere

The place was cold and the fire place didn’t help heat it enough

We loved the location. On a farm, but walking distance from town. The hosts were friendly, and so were the dogs! The squirrels playing in the trees behind the cottage, the windmill in the distance, the vines and the beautiful mountains that surround the cottage made this a wonderful break away. The best part was the very comfortable couches in front of a burning fire place!
