Good breakfast and handy pub. It’s a 199 year old hotel so be prepared - lots of character. Friendly staff. They put my coat in the dryer after a lashing walk. The owner actually gave me a ride to the train station as I had hurt my ankle. SO HELPFUL.
I wished they had the kitchen open for dinners but restaurants nearby.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Mattress comfort and bed linen were excellent.
Breakfast was cooked to order and so fresh and hot.
Pity there isn’t a lift for guests with heavy luggage although a member of staff did help us on arrival.
