nice views , nice staff not a luxury facility - not sure it’s a 750 a night hotel

The location is great, restaurants around, supermarkets, easy to reach Fira center walking. The view is the most spectacular from all island. Breakfast delivered every morning to your room at your preferred time. Apartment was super clean and spacious with two rooms each one with his own bathroom, kitchen and living room. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and customer service well oriented making your stay delightful. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a great choice!

Everything was perfect

Exceptional service from the staff! They were so friendly and helpful. Stunning views of the caldera and very spacious room just for myself. The breakfast served on my balcony was such a nice touch and wonderful way to start the day. Wished I could've stayed longer!

The accommodation was fabulous, with uninterrupted views across the caldera. The room was clean, modern and well equipped. Loved that breakfast was served to each room on the private balcony. We enjoyed staying in Imerovigli, as it had a more relaxed pace than Fira and Oia, while still having good options for bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Staff at the property were friendly and welcoming.

The check-in could have been a little more efficient, as the staff provided a very detailed introduction to the accommodation, and things to do on the island. While some guests may enjoy this presentation, others such as us would've preferred a more streamlined process. The breakfast offering could be improved - portions were small, and some dishes (the muesli, eggs etc.) could have been of higher quality.

Amazing hosts, private breakfast on our balcony, breathtaking view, incredible apartment! There is nothing we didn't absolutely love! We definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a remarkable trip to the island!

Perfect view of sunset from the balcony and plunge pool, beautiful room including kitchenette providing an extra sink, extremely friendly and helpful staff who were readily available by room phone or through Booking.com chat to reserve restaurants and cabs and respond to any room requests. Just wonderful! They also transported our luggage at all times needed and stored it after we checked out. Breakfast brought to the accommodation and set up on the balcony was tasty and a nice touch to add to our relaxing stay and use of the gorgeous view right from our room. The Bistro (open until :00) made nice drinks and it would be wonderful if this quiet retreat from Thira could be open later until 2:00. We didn’t use the common infinity pool, but would have if we were staying longer. It was another great option that the hotel provided.

Functionality of the room. Coffee machine not working properly.

I'm a frequent traveller and have never experienced such an outstanding level of hospitality as I did at Altana. Christos, Michaelis and the team provide an exceptional level of service and make you feel like part of the family. The original room we booked had been renovated and the bed configuration was different from the one I booked so they provided a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. The property is situated at one of the highest points on the island with outstanding views and photo opportunities at every turn. A delicious fresh breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and served on our terrace overlooking the caldera. I highly recommend Imerovigli and Altana to anyone visiting Santorini.

Not the best wifi

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Altana. Staff ( Michalis in particular) could not do enough to ensure a top class stay. Incredible views too from most of the rooms/suites. 5 star service in a 5 star location. Would recommend.

The best accommodation I have ever stayed in. This encompasses the incredible staff, the beautiful property, the breath taking location- EVERYTHING.

Nothing to complain about.

The Superior Cave Villa with Outdoor Plunge Pool and Caldera View was exactly as at the pictures. We were 2, but villa is suitable for 4. It is spacy, very clean, looks like new, simple but modern design. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and private terrace with a hot tube, sun beds for 4 and table with chairs for breakfast. Terrace has caldera view and sunset view and reasonable level of privacy (Very few of terraces in Santorini have full privacy). The breakfast was served at the terrace at the pre-agreed time, during our checkin we selected on check list what we wish to have for breakfast. The cleaninig was perfect. The wifi was stable and fast. The room was 10-20 steps down from walking path Fira-Oia, but unvisible from the path. We parked the car at the public parking area, usually ok, only sometimes during day it was difficult to find empty slot to park, evening it was easy. At the beginning the host navigated is to the parking from where he helped us with the lugguge and took us to the reception for checkin and then to the villa.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The vibe, tbe ability to explore in a stress-free environment. Driving was not crazy at all. Wine was the hidden bonus. I had no clue how amazing the wine was. 38 Wineries on such a small island.

The view, location and Staff were brilliant. I can't speak highly enough of Altana. Highly recommend.
