Stunning apartment- simple and light and airy with sea views

The proximity to the sea was outstanding. The space and cleanliness were much better than anticipated given the price paid.

parking in Cadaques was understandably difficult

The location was fantastic, right opposite one of the beaches in Cadaques. The bed was very comfortable and the other furniture was too. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Location is great, stylish and very beautifully decorated apartment

It is a good place to share with close friends as it is an open plan apartment, i.e. no doors in the bedroom. Nice sea view bathroom. You can also see the sea from the living room. Huge tv and loads of room in the living room with a large sofa and several armchairs. Two toilets. Wooden floor. Several lamps and lights. Nice decor. All in all its a nice place.

It is a nice and different place but expensive quality price for the following reasons. We were three people going out for lunch but having dinner at the property and going to bed around 23:00. Uncomfortable dining chairs. Noisy fridge. No proper pillows but uncomfortable cushions. Mattress too hard. Curtains don’t block sunlight at sunrise. Air vents in main bedroom bringing air and small sandy stones into the bedroom and noise from people shouting and chatting in the street. Although it is a first floor from the living room, in the bedroom and the small shower room it is a basement that’s why there are two air vents I guess. The worse thing really was the air on the face during the night as it was imposible to move the heavy wooden bed and it was windy outside. And we could understand we are in the coast but to find a cockroach is very unpleasant so deep cleaning and fumigation or similar action before new arrivals might help. For all these reasons we have to give a 7 that is a Good but not an excellent. Thank you.
