for 113€ for 2 nights you don’t get the Ritz. Please consider that. Compared to this price the room is good. You get a basic and spartanic accommodation that is very clean and does the job. Some scratches included.
What I really liked was the included roof garden.
20 min by foot to train station. Some bus station 300 m in both directions. 30 min by foot to the old bevor - the center of Marseilles. I foot are not looking for high comfort and need simply a base for exploring the city, Carpe Diem serves you nicely.
Check in starts at 1 pm, also a big benefit.
You definitely need to walk through an underpass in both directions (center and train station). They are dirty and look unsafe, but are defined safe to pass also at night.

Very comfortable bed, nice décoration, fairly central location near a lovely park
There was no duvet, just a couple of blankets, and it was cold at night

It's like a little cottage surrounded by trees! Beautiful. Definitely worth the money. You have everything you need.

Not a great deal..I'd not return.
Convenient location for bus & train stations, although not the most attractive area.
The bedroom floor was constantly wet, from a leaking fridge, leaving a potentially dangerous slippery floor.
