The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

The worst price-value ratio - expensive for super outdated and basic room.

The location only

It was the worst value for money accommodation I ever stayed! 4 basic and short beds in an 11sm room, a space-consuming smelly fridge middle of the room (was good for using it as shelf), no space for luggage or even to hang a towel, Bathroom end of the corridor, no mosquito net, no blinds, paper-thin walls, noisy other guests, 1 key only for 4 person, which we needed even for the garden gate, and the child friendly play area a total joke. No air-con, door hard to close.

The location was excellent.

Our room was dark, smelled like mould. I even had to put my clean clothes to the laundry when l got home after staying there only one night. The whole property obviously hasn’t been refurbished for ages and the owners don’t invest too much money to make it appealing. Our room’s wall had some plastic cover on it from about the 1970es, the cupboards were probably even older with a bad smell inside them and our bedsheets was literally from the ‘70es at least! I can clearly remember this stuff from my childhood and l don’t think you can get them anywhere these days. Disgusting. If you like old villas touched with the style of socialism and don’t really fussy about small details then probably it’s a place for you. It definitely freaked me out and would never go back again.

Great location and clean rooms. Best choice for festivals in Zamárdi.

The staff was too pushy. The furnitures are super vintage, but not in the good manner. The third day the ants appeared around the trash bin. In the kitchen there is a stinky microwave. There is no natural light, the room smelled like an 'old lady'. The gate is a struggle every time you want to park inside.
