The location is perfect, near the cathedral and within walking distance of all the sights, restaurants, etc. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a living room, and a bathroom. It is lovely and has a designer touch, even though it isn't furnished with expensive pieces. It is fully equipped for cooking and includes both a dishwasher and a washing machine. We stayed for a week, and it was very nice to enjoy a French-style breakfast with goodies from the shop downstairs. We also found a very convenient parking lot nearby for €3/day (Le Carré) and took daily trips to the wonderful villages in the area. The area is a true gem.

I found the bed and pillow very uncomfortable. I slept quite poorly, and I think the mattress and pillows need replacing. As for the host, I didn't meet them in person, but my experience wasn't particularly pleasant. I've traveled quite a bit and stayed in numerous accommodations, but this is the first time I've been asked, upon departure, to wash the dishes, put everything back exactly as I found it, take out the trash, and even replace the trash bags with clean ones. Of course, it's common courtesy to leave things tidy and clean up after yourself, but I find it excessive to ask guests to essentially help prepare the apartment for the next visitors. In the spirit of the hospitality industry, I would expect these tasks to be handled by the host or the cleaning service.

The location of this property is excellent - the kitchen and bathrooms were both in very good condition - we had a problem with the heating when we arrived and the host fixed it immediately.

It was unusually hot for May in Colmar and the flat is quite warm and the AC units are very noisy.

Perfect location in the heart of the city. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive. Ideal for exploring Colmar on foot. Highly recommend!
