Hotel Haus Am Meer Cavtat

10/10- everything was perfect! The room ( comfy bed and had ac) ,location from the city and the owner was the sweetest loveliest person.

The hostess is super friendly and we felt quite comfortable there. Location is good and the price is hard to beat.

The shower head support was not holding it. But that’s all.

Everything, just perfect. The staff ladies are so nice.

Not staying one more night

I wasn’t given the room I initially booked. I arrived early and was given what was available. I was given a room in the back. It was clean and nice but given the money I paid, I thought I would get a room that I paid for. The owner is so kind and sweet. It’s like a family based guest house and not typically a hotel. There was no breakfast and i wasn’t told until after pay on arrival. The guest house it’s self is beautiful and the room have a peaceful home vibe to it but I truly thought I had booked a hotel. It’s a hostel or air b&b type of setting. I loved the location, it is safe and near Cavtat town and the airport. It’s easily accessible to Dubrovnik and has such a calm feel to it. The owner is so kind and sweet, she offered grapes on the first day and truly made my trip so amazing. However I would have loved an explanation on why I was charged that amount of money only to be given a standard king room instead of a superior. Since it was my birthday, I concentrated on having a good time instead of playing the follow up person. I think there should be better delivery next time. Give the client exactly what they booked even if they are alone if not compensate them. Otherwise it’s a great hotel. Remove the sign that you offer breakfast as it’s a lie.

There was no breakfast and I was given a different room for what I paid for. Communicating my needs was difficult as the owner doesn’t speak English.
