Both reception and restaurant staff were excellent (Tess) and helped me with both bike storage and a problem with my main course - starter and dessert were good.
The room was disappointing - bland and tired furnishings, no attempt at decoration. Without air conditioning a warm night was difficult to ameliorate when blinds were closed.
It feels like a roadside halt rather than a fashionable hotel in a town steeped in WW 2 history.

Location was good and within easy walking distance to the town centre. Located centrally to Utah Beach and other war history museums and sites. Because of the location we stayed an additional 2 nights.
On-site restaurant was good and lots of options for breakfast.
Room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nicely done.
On site coffee machine was broken and not fixed for the time we were there. Air conditioning and Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been good.

Breakfast was best!
Blocked drain in sink & dirty toilet on arrival - rooms and corridor would benefit from a general update.
