Hotel und Gutsgaststätte Rappenhof

Breakfast was the perfect little German style breakfast which I love. Everything was fresh an well presently, the owner was an absolute joy as she made sure you have everything you wanted; perfect service! As this was a typical German 'pension' the room is spartan as normal, the cleanliness was immaculate. I did not have time to visit, but there is a small "water castle" in the village that looked like a nice little adventure - my local friends said the cafe there is 'THE' place to have a slice of Schwartwaelder Kirshtorte (Black Forest Cherry Torte). Excellent spot to hike or bike from.

The only suggestion I would make is for them to make the investment in new towels, long overdue for replacement. The small village below has only one available dining option, though absolutely excellent, other dining options will require a 10+ minute drive.

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Garten in wunderschöner Lage in den Weinbergen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Restaurant mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche.

Unser Zimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad sehr klein.

The cleaning is poor, I found at least 3 spiders in the room and under the table was full of nets. The bed was not very comfortable When you are paying more than 100 euros you expect more
