loved location, staff was very friendly and helpfull (especially Adrien), room size.
no lift. when you stay on the top of house is not that sweet. Visiting sauna is not free - very rearly you can meet that in hotels. Breakfast could be improved

This hotel is in a class of its own. It embodies the ideals of late 19th-century French hospitality and quality, at least how I imagine it to have been, and delivers them in the early 21st century! A miracle! A time capsule!
(Note: 20th century amenities such as electricity, a telephone to call reception, warm and cold water in all guest rooms, and radio-telegraphy — they call it "the internet" now — are available and of flawless quality.)
Marcel Proust died in 1922. I somehow anyway did expect to meet him in the breakfast room.
One thing: Please mention in your online resources that guests could, if they wish, bring proper dinner attire. Even compared to the other guests, I was hopelessly underdressed, and the best-dressed people at dinnertime were the waiters. The menu is absolutely worthy some respect (IMHO).

This is a gorgeous property with wonderful surroundings. We stayed in two attic rooms as a family of four and the rooms and bathrooms suited perfectly to our needs. The night was very quiet and the breakfast was excellent.
Although the building is beautiful as it is, the rooms can highly benefit from a renovation. There was no issue with the cleaning but the run down feeling of the room made a strange impression when we first entered our rooms.

Service beim Abendessen, überhöhte Preise für das Abendessen, Ausstattung veraltet, Check-out erst um 9:20 möglich, Gardinen im Salon voll toter Insekten, keine Tomaten, Gurken zum Frühstück, keine Minibar, Kühlschrank im Zimmer sehr laut.
