The cleaning lady was a bit slack and was looking at her phone a lot sitting in corridor. Had to ask for towels late at night and have room cleaned. She only put a bottle of water in the room and pulled up the doona.

The location is fabulous for the major tourist sites. Manager arranged transport from and to IST, which would have been daunting using public transport. Staff are great, helpful. And the local cats are friendly. Breakfast is varied and plentiful

Shower is all marble, making it a bit treacherous if you are a bit unsteady. But perfectly manageable with care.

Very convenient location. Good for restaurants, major historical sites and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I have had better breakfasts. It was impossible not to soak the floor when you showered.

The location was very good, very close to Aghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

I paid extra for a room with a view to the city (mainly I expected view to the Aghia Sophia mosque but the room was in the first floor (2 meters from the ground - the lobby was 1 meter below ground) and it was at the rightmost part of the building with very little view to anything, the best thing I could view was a parking place with lots of cars and traffic and noise coming from the street. In that circumstances it could be better if we had a cheaper room in the back with no view as we would avoid the noise! The light in the Bathroom was really low for the mirror, not suitable for shaving, no extra mirror was available. The A/C was not working and the temperature in the room was quite high so we felt really uncomfortable with this. The hotel was obviously not full with guests but the staff didn't make any effort to move us to a better room although I tried to inform them that the price we paid was very high for the value we got ( just out of curiosity I googled the hotel and I could find a much better price in the same hotel for the days we stayed if I searched in booking.com so obviously we got a relatively high price, but the staff claimed that the list price was much higher and we got the room with discount, although obviously no one gets the actual list price but a much lower price.) Overall, staff was polite but no real action was taken for any complaints that we kindly expressed. Also, the breakfast was not what you expect from a 4-star hotel.
