Great value for money. Villas have all the basic equipment you need for a comfortable stay. The pool right in fron of our place was great. Luxury or fancy frills should not be expected.
Having a car is highly recommended. Walking to the beautiful Son Bou beach is not really an option. Since the Mar Blau is located kind of between Ciutadella and Mao you can reach both cities in a reasonable time.
In high season the area is probably very crowded, even early October it could get busy, yet still relaxed.
Many stray cats in the area which like to occupy the sun beds. They are harmless but a bit annoying especially since other guests were feeding them.
One of the sleeping rooms has the hot water tank in the closet which could get a bit noisy.

Very nice and well maintained complex. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Comfortable beds in the bedroom. A 5 mins walk . Much appreciated the shower and towels provided as we could enjoy the pool also after checking-out.
The mattresses in the living are could be more firm.

Clean apartment, attentive cleaning staff, relatively quiet residential location with great sea views and with busy town nearby, friendly staff, attractive plants around apartments with lots of butterflies, cheeky sparrows and a resident cat. Lots of places to eat out and to buy food to eat in. Excellent WIFI and my VPN worked without any problem.
I would have liked to have been able to use the swimming pool later than 8pm, also I would have liked to have been able to recycle my rubbish on site rather than have to take it to the local recycling point in the village. I think this would encourage more recycling in the complex.
